Hello everyone. I am currently in my third year at a public university, here are my current + projected stats that I would have if applying this cycle. Do you think it is better to wait until 2026? Any thoughts & critiques are appreciated, the more brutal the better.

CA ORM, first generation college student

MCAT: 514 (129, 126, 128, 131)

GPA: 3.95 cGPA / 3.93 sGPA

Main ECs
  • EMT for an IFT company: ~850 hours
  • Volunteer tutoring at a local charter school, selected by supervisor to do 1 on 1 with some students in doubt to graduate: ~300 hours
  • Volunteer counselor for free camp for children with parents/relatives affected by cancer, held committee positions for fundraising & planning: total ~350 hours
  • Basic science research no pubs: ~300 hours
  • Hospital volunteering: ~100 hours
  • Shadowing: ~100 hours total over 3 specialties
Other/Hobbies
  • Worked in food service for ~1 year, able to talk about how it shaped me
  • Soccer (been playing all my life, outreach committee for school club organizing pickup games, intramural soccer)
  • Lifting weights/bodybuilding for ~4 years
  • Currently learning to play the ukulele cause of my favorite band
