Hello all! First time on SDN here, appreciate any and all advice. Planning to apply this 2024/2025 cycle and was wondering if my list is good. Nervous as all get out and just want to make sure everything is buttoned up. GPA hit the ****ter during COVID working full time and took a little bit to hit the ground running back on campus. Tried to tailor my list from Goro's stuff and generally OOS friendly schools; curious if I should cut some MDs and add more DOs.

- 3.38cGPA, 3.36sGPA UC undergrad
- 3.97 DIY Post Bacc UCSD extension @ 25 units
- 513 MCAT: 129/127/130/127
- ~800 hours as Urgent Care MA, 200 hours ED scribe + counting
- ~700 hours wet lab research
- ~250 hours clinical volunteering with leadership (extremely passionate abt this, PS focused on this experience)
- ~150 hours homeless shelter + counting, ~50 hours special ed sports, ~50 hours tutoring illiterate children + counting, ~40 hours science projects with elementary school
- 32 hours shadowing: 16 ortho, 16 gen surgery. Will have more shadowing lined-up before application
- 2000+ hours nonclinical paid work (line cook), 200+ hours private tutor + counting
