I was a psych major for undergrad, got 80% of my prereqs done w a 3.65 cGPA and a 3.5 sGPA. Graduated last summer, so this summer I retook Orgo 1 (originally P/F’ed it) to get a B, took Physics 1 and got a B.
In the second summer half, I got a D in Orgo 2 (took an accelerated summer class, I’m not sure why I thought I could handle it). I’m retaking it this fall along with taking Physics 2 and finally Biochem in Spring as an undesignated post-bacc student. Was planning on studying for MCAT during this fall and spring, testing early next year and applying in the summer of ‘25.
Is this feasible? Do I need to step my grades up with a Master’s degree or a designated pre med post bacc program? Freaking out a little bit. Any constructive criticism welcome.
