NJ resident, attending large PA public school.
GPA: 3.94
Science GPA: 3.95
MCAT: 514
ethnicity: ORM

Biology major, minors in Econ, Chem, sociology

Here are my EC's:
550 hours volunteer EMT
200 hours hospital volunteer
50 hours random community volunteer
1 year lab research (not published)
1 year literature research (collect data from papers and complete a project. Started this after pandemic started)
3 years president of pre-health club
1.5 years tutoring in sciences
Shadowing: 100 hours with 3 different doctors
UTA for two courses and professors
Peer honors mentor/ambassdor (not much, help a group of incoming freshman assimilate to college)
Global Brigades member (was going to go on a mission trip but covid happened)

Various jobs but I'm not going to list because I don't think it is relevant.

Letters of rec: sort of weak
1 physician (ok)
1 PI (strong)
1 bio professor (ok)
maybe 1 neuro professor (weak)

I feel like my letters of rec and my personal statement may be a little weak, so take that into account. Also, should I retake the MCAT??

Med schools of interest:
Rutgers RWJ - New Brunswick
Rutgers Newark
Drexel
Sydney Kimmel
UConn
Albany Medical College
Penn State
Georgetown
Dartmouth
UNC chapel hill
University of Pittsburgh (reach)
University of California Davis / Riverside (is this even worth it?)
What else should I add? Trying to keep only MD schools in US.

Thank you!!!

Your stats and activities should give you a solid shot at your state schools. Your non-clinical volunteering could be improved but overall I think you have a good application; you don't need to retake the MCAT.

Also with regards to your letters, don't get a weak one from the neuro professor. You need 2 science and one non-science for most schools. And your personal statement is up to you to make strong. It doesn't have to be some unique masterpiece, but it should be coherent and logical.

You should aim for at least 20 schools, here are some suggestions on top of the ones you have:

-Cooper
-Hackensack Meridian
-Einstein
-Temple
-NYMC
-Hofstra
-Rochester
-Quinnipiac
-Tufts
-BU
-George Washington
-St. Louis U
-UVM
-Wake Forest
-Miami

-UConn, Davis are not worth it.

UC Riverside accepted ZERO non residents last year and UC Davis only one. UNC and UConn also accept few non residents with no connection to the state.
You could add these schools:
Rowan
Seton Hall
Temple
Hofstra
Einstein
New York Medical College
Rochester
Vermont
Quinnipiac
George Washington
Oakland Beaumont
Wayne State
Cincinnati
Medical College Wisconsin
Loyola
St. Louis
Creighton
TCU-UNT
Miami
NOVA MD

I appreciate the replies guys. Do you guys think anything is lacking in my resume, or is there anything I should try to add before applications begin?
