My experiences in hospice volunteering, hospital service, coaching, writing, and community outreach have shaped my interest in patient dignity, communication, health literacy, and continuity of care. Through both clinical experiences and storytelling, I have become deeply interested in the human side of medicine: how physicians guide patients and families not only through treatment, but through fear, grief, uncertainty, and trust. I hope to become a physician who combines technical excellence with empathy while serving patients from diverse backgrounds and communities.
