Being blunt here, I think your GPA and DAT range of subscores are lower than desired. What feedback have you gotten from the prehealth advisors at BYU? Your best strategy must include succeeding in SMPs.

The predental advisor at BYU has told me that I may garner interest, but it would not be a lot. I decided to give it a shot this cycle to see what schools I would gain interest from. I am African-American, so I was hoping I would have a shot at schools such as Meharry and Howard.
