  1. GPA: 3.1cGPA and 3.3sGPA. 3.6 DIY post bacc gpa (43hrs). Downward trend during undergrad due to mom's cancer and death. Shortly after start of postbacc dad was diagnosed with cancer and during pandemic (I guess proving that I can handle life challenges better now?)

    3. SMDEP: Did "clinics" where I was taught about different types of procedures and assisted somewhat during ER shadowing
  7. Research experience and productivity
    1. Research assistant (50hrs): helped a chair with her psych research on risky behaviors and self harm/harmful behaviors. Assisted a medical center study on FAD in Russian babies
    2. Orginal research and pres (60hrs): Worked on group research on students different motivation levels and their background and how it effected their learning style. Presented poster at regional conference
    3. Original research (60hrs): looked at relationship about awareness of PrEP within MSM (men who have sex with men) community and what needed to be done to increase it. Didn't pursue publication because by time it was time to submit massive campaigns had started to increase awareness.

I suggest these schools with your stats:
Oklahoma
Howard
Meharry
Morehouse
UCLA Drew
Indiana
TCU-UNT
Medical College Wisconsin
Creighton
Loyola
Oakland Beaumont
Wayne State
Miami
NOVA MD
George Washington
Drexel
Temple
Jefferson
Pittsburgh
Hackensack
New York Medical College
Vermont
Quinnipiac
Apply in June and submit all your secondaries by July

I should also add: crossreference your stats against those schools that host(ed) SHPEP or its predecessors. You should know that SHPEP likes staying connected to alumni of the program regardless of where you go. But it is always nice being at a school with a SHPEP program to give back.

Like the specific school that hosted the program I went to or all of them? If it is the specific one it was at UT Houston and I have no ties to Tx so I wasn't going to even bother to apply.

All of those where you have a reasonable fit (stats/metrics and vision/mission fit).
