Honestly I just need some help figuring out if it is worth it to apply this cycle and help with my school list. I am worried that my GPA will drag me down but all other aspects of my application seem okay to me. My GPA was tanked by my first couple semesters but I did decent in most of the important science classes (mostly As/Bs in all chem/bio/biochem classes and all upper level microbiology classes I took). I’m mostly focused on in-state MD programs (FL) and DO programs but I was also hoping to get some guidance on other OOS programs that would be worthwhile.

What does your 1500 hours of Patient Care Rep involve? Do you have any non clinical volunteering such as food bank, homeless shelter, etc. ?
