2. MCAT: 511--> 128/125/127/131
3. SoR: MI
4. Race: White Female
5. School: Small tech school

6.Clinical experience: ~140 hours total as a hospital volunteer in ER

7. Research Experience:
Home School: Chemistry research -500+ hours
2 poster presentations (April 2018)
1 Manuscript in progress

UC Davis: Surgical Oncology research - 300+ hours
Poster presentation next fall (after I hope to apply)
1 Manuscript in progress--> I am helping to write this one

8. Shadowing: ~50 hours total
Surgical Oncology-20 hours
Physical Medicine and Rehab- 5 Hours
Concussion Clinic-5 Hours
Orthopedic surgery-10 Hours
Primary Care-10 Hours

9. Non-clinical Volunteering: ~150 hours total
Neighborhood Mobile Grocery (brings fresh groceries to assisted living centers for elderly): ~100 hours
Food Bank dispensary (Run by same non-profit as Mobile Grocery): ~20 Hours
Raking leaves for elderly: 10 hours
Red Cross: 20 hours

10. EC activities:
College athlete- Women's Basketball Player
Implemented an online, available 24/7 culturally sensitive mental health service for students at my school
Honors Program for school
Immuno-oncology certification- ASCO University

11. Honors/Awards:
Dean's List
All-conference 2nd team (Women's Basketball)
Academic All Conference Team

12. Other:
Paid Chemistry/Biology/Anatomy Tutor: 500 Hours
Coached at multiple youth basketball camps


**I am worried about my low cars score. I averaged about 129/130 on cars on the FLs but under performed on test day. Please let me know if and how this will affect my application process.

Do not underestimate the fondness Admissions Deans have for student athletes.

I suggest getting in more service to others less fortunate than yourself. Stop research and sports, except as a hobby. CARS gets cut the most slack.

Any DO program. I can't recommend Touro-NY, Nova, Wm Carey, LUCOM, for different reasons. MSUCOM? Read up on Larry Nasser and you decide. LMU has an accreditation warning, which concerns me.
