math major
>4,000 hours of clinical experience (I'm a CNA so mostly paid employment)
No research experience whatsoever (I applied for a few positions Sept. 2020 but never heard back)
~40 hours of shadowing

I completed three apps in September + three since the beginning of October. I'm still trying to get more out (at least another six), but it's been rough with working/volunteering full time - it doesn't help that it takes me forever to write an essay.

I haven't heard back from any schools yet and the silence is slowly killing me. The main thing I'm worried about is that I bombed CASPer (really really bombed it), and my state school is one that uses it. I think this is their first year using CASPer, so it's unclear how heavily they consider it.

My top non-CASPer schools are Rush, UCSD, FIU, and Eastern Virginia.

Do you have any non-clinical volunteering? If not, your app to Rush may be DOA since they extremely value community service.

I have no advice but just wanted to chime in and share you're not alone. Working full time in an intense job and getting apps out can be hard. I also haven't gotten any interview invites and am in a similar boat.
