i'd recommend doubling (or as close to it as you can afford) your school list
UOP likes HIGH DAT scores...
 
i recommend you research canadian friendly schools...
 
Okay... your writing the CanDAT makes a lot more sense now on this. I think your list of US schools is fine provided they have Canadian students in their programs. Usually, your US-Canadian border schools are the ones that consider the CanDAT unless they say otherwise (why your list seems fine). I can understand that your GPA puts you out of considering Canadian programs since they have few seats and like high stats in general.

how accurate is this statement. Im applying to uop with a high dat but low gpa

I'd suggest going to the Dental School Explorer/Official Guide to check on the number of Canadians in the more recent incoming class for which there exist data (would be D2's now). Granted your chances may be better with private schools, but check if Nova SE, Tufts, CWRU, or some of the Ivys would be within striking distance for you.
