Anyone who might be interested in TUCOM needs to be aware of problems with the schools administration. Getting truthful information in a timely matter is extremely difficult. It is not past the school to post information that is not necessarily true and act as if it was. For example, for the past school year the school has kept a post on their website regarding a favorable 1st step passing percentage of 94%(supposedly passing step one on their first try). When in reality this is the reported score for the previous year, they probably didn't want to reveal to potential applicants that the percentage of passers the next year fell to 84% (worst in the nation).
They also keep a list of hospitals they are supposedly affiliated with in which students can do clinical rotations. This list is also NOT accurate. Many locations have been dropped by either TUCOM or the hospital.
TUCOM puts on a very good show and tells applicants everything they want to hear, but as soon as they have your money all bets are off.
For anyone thinking about applying to TUCOM I would advise you to be prepared to transfer after your second year. The academics are exceptionally good at TUCOM. Unfortuneatly, TUCOM's administration is adversarial at best and uncaring.
