Was anybody else extremely nervous...

i was suppppppper nervous. i had spent awhile that day making sure there weren't any small errors. it was intense!

i was shaking in my boots, lol. ah well.. nothing to do now but hope and wait 😀

I was, even though I had checked everything and had others proofread for spelling/grammar mistakes. I even printed it and read it again after I submitted (against my better judgment!!) and I didn't find anything, thankfully.

haha I had an MD/PhD that is working in the lab with me pestering me for about 3 days after my app was complete about how I still hadn't submitted it....it was pretty exciting/nervous to actually hit the button! Now the waiting game! I'm pretty sure I submitted on the 10th...and it still just says "ready for review"...how long does it usually take to even get into the pile to get looked at?? What does it change to?

The time it takes varies depending on how many applications are "in line". I would guess yours would take around 1.5 weeks. I submitted on June 3 and it took about a week to get mine verified. Once the application has been reviewed, you will get an email saying it was verified and the status will say "AMCAS processing is complete".

I was just happy for submitting early. If hitting the submit button made me extremely nervous, I wonder how I would feel in an interview?

I thought there were 3 pages I had to go through before submitting. Apparently it was 2, so I hit the submit button without really knowing it was the final submit button. Thankfully, I had intended to submit today 🙂. After I hit it, I was verified 16 minutes later.. Is that a re-applicant thing, or an early decision thing?

Reapplicant here. I sat on mine for like a week after it was done for"proofreading." I think I proofed it approximately 89000 times. Which is just silly cause it isn't like I didn't get in last time because of a typo, you know? 😛

Also good luck to everyone!!! :xf:

Just hit the submit button. I'm not sure how long it is going to take for my heart rate to go down.

:scared:
