A few days ago I had my interview at my top choice school. For my 2nd interviewer, they are on the admissions committee and I noticed that they never asked me why our school, so at one point I did slip in that I was very interested in one of their pathways. But still no further prompting about why I liked the school. Is this a good or bad sign?

You're reading too far into it. Not everyone has to ask why that school. They were asking questions they felt were relevant either for them to standardize the interview and/or for them to go to know you to make a more informed decision. Besides, they know you applied to like a dozen schools, and no all match the same mission, and most schools offer the same or similar pathways. Relax. Your interview is over. Sit and wait.

Good luck.

Doesn't mean anything. If this is not a structured interview, there's no reason why any interviewer would be compelled to ask the question, though I (as an interview trainer) would generally wonder why he/she didn't ask. But it won't or shouldn't count against you.

I thought it was odd because in the secondary they don’t ask why their school either. The 1st interviewer did ask and I gave my answer where I really showed all my interests in the school so hopefully their evaluation will include that. But this person is on the admissions committee and didn’t ask although they were interested in other things: getting to know me, strengths and weaknesses, research, IA (That is not an IA and I informed the school beforehand and during the interview when they asked)
So you were asked after all? As mentioned above, it's not a required question for interviewers.
