During a medical school interview, the school indicated that they would welcome an update letter from me. I have a letter written, but it doesn't have many school-specific details. How many school-specific details should I include in the letter?

It is not necessary to further personalize the update letter with school-specific details. The details about the specific school can be minimal, such as reiterating their core values and expressing sincere interest in attending. Overkilling the letter with excessive personalization is not recommended.

Agree with the bot. The biggest reason for not going overboard with personalization is twofold—nobody wants to read more than 3-4 sentences, and also all of the personalized stuff should have been covered in your interview. There is no need to repeat yourself and look desperate
