A friend of mine who is on hold for an interview called in and was told they are planning on sending out more invites at the end of next week.

Jan 31st after 1pm is the time we can call in and find out. I was put on the alternate list last month, so I'm hoping to get an invite. what a stressful process this is.

It just felt bad. I didn't have anything in particular that was awful, but I did say a few things not so eloquently and I actually gave more information than the interviewer asked for on a controversial topic that I probably would have been better off not saying. Well to everyone.

Well, I'm not only freaking out about Wayne, but also about MSU because they said they may have a decision on Tuesday.... I'm just praying that one of them flat out accepts me. That will make the remaining interviews so much easier for me.

no kidding... i'm still waiting on MSU. But I'd easily go with Wayne over State, if I'd get that choice

I am sorry for those who must wait another month. You may actually have lucked out. I would assume that WSU admits a certain amount of students at each meeting. Since they interview by MCAT score, being reviewed against the applicants in the next meeting (lower MCAT) may be to your advantage. I may be wrong on this though.

I probably wpuld rather die than have to wait another month. I basically have been counting down the time. I am freaking out. I wish you the best of luck and hope you get some good news from another school to ease your wait!

i interviewed yesterday...it was really chill, my interviewer was a very nice guy and asked me quesitons about my personal as well as academic life. yes i went on the tour (jackets19) and it was quite informative. Good luck to all of you finding out the final decision tomorrow...and please let those of us finding out in feb know how it goes 🙂

I was there with you... and I got the same email (obviously). We'll see, maybe some got reviewed and it was a mishap

your best bet is to wait until about 2 if you can... the lines are jammed when they first open up.

a december interview is usually a good sign... even if you get placed on the alternate list, you might get accepted on one of the next 3 call-in days afterwards... so not all is lost

Definitely a person. They're pretty straight forward. I'll bet for rejections they have a stock line they use.
