I was told by the tour guides (first year med students) that getting on the Waitlist at Wayne is not the most horrible thing in the world and that they fill a lot of class openings from their waitlist. So maybe that's some hope to everyone out there.

As for me, I'm waiting for the 10 minutes until call-in time!
This is nerve-wracking.

yea, i wonder if they'll have several lines open or something - or if they use only one line, in which case, many of us will not get through!

Anyway, I really appreciate Wayne's admissions process.

Even though it's rolling - they reserve seats for students based on interview period, so that even if you interview late - you have an equal shot of admission.

Then they pamper us with this "we'll make decisions by this date, we'll send out letters but you can call our office too if you want".

I somehow can't believe it...man, it feels like I'm in heaven or something. Good chemicals and hormones must be surging through my body right now, because god damnit, i have never felt this happy before!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When did you interview?

From what I remember, you had an abnormal MCAT score - it was too good I mean. You'll hear the good news in Feb buddy.

Even though wayne isn't my first choice - I guess all premeds can understand though, that the first acceptance is the sweetest.

🙂 I got in. I can't believe this right now because I thought I did pretty bad in my interview. Guess instincts are wrong sometimes. Anyway this makes me incredibly happy just to know I never have to go through this process again and I can relax at my other interviews now. All the work I've done was worth it.

I hope so, but I doubt it (Yeah, I'm a pessimist). I was waitlisted at Wayne last year as well (but that was in April). Not sure what to do at this point.

Hey, thanks🙂 I likely will choose it, unless OSU accepts me. I'll have a tough choice then. However, I liked Wayne and it is in-state tuition for me, which helps. I have a good feeling you will get in, like another poster mentioned you had an obscene MCAT score. I know that's not everything, but when you score that high it is something major. Anyway, just try to occupy yourself until Feb (although I know that is easier said than done). Let me know what happens.
