WCU COM vs. ARCOM: urgent

Hi everyone, I’m looking for some help on choosing between 2 DO schools in the South. I interviewed at ARCOM in-person in the fall and loved it but was waitlisted. I later interviewed (virtually) at William Carey and was accepted amongst 2 others. I chose WCU COM since it was the closest to home and I’ve been set on attending since. Today I got the acceptance from ARCOM and now I’m really unsure, but have less than 24 hours to let them know.

Distance from home, curriculum structure, and exam pass rates / match rates are super similar for both.

Pros for WCU COM: WCU COM has had 8 or 9 residency matches so far while ARCOM only has 2. (2010 start vs 2017)

Pros for ARCOM: WCU COM has next to no research but ARCOM seems to have some opportunities. Also their communication has been 10 times stronger than WCU even though I was accepted there. I know it’s not a serious metric but the vibes are there for ARCOM while for WCU I had a rough interview and they barely / informally communicate information since then.

What do you think?

Have you compared the match lists to see if one school seems to send people to a particular residency program? If it were me, I would probably go to the school closer to home. Also if you want to do residency close to home, going to the closer school might help.

WCU, it is more established. This cycle I heard their communication has been less than ideal, but it has been great for previous classes according to students there. Vibes are not really a good thing to go off of.

just to run off this, for better or worse, the communication from WCU is what you make it. they don't send out a ton, but they are great about responding within a day anytime i've reached out, which has been a lot lol.
