So Im thinking about getting Lasik this summer (contacts just irritate my eyes too much in general). This is most likely a worthless concern that my doc will clear up when I go see him, but I wanted to throw this out anyway.
If I wanted to be a surgeon in the future, is there any way in which the LASIK procedure would disqualify me from this? I guess what Im asking is, if I want to do surgery, is it worth it to get LASIK?
