I received a letter from SUNY Downstate saying that they have reviewed my application and found that they needed my fall semester grade report. I am a Master's student and my fall semester does not start till october, which means my grades (only one class!) won't be in till december. apparently my application is on "hold" till then. I called them and they were extremely obtuse about answering my questions and told me this is a normal part of the process. I was under the impression that schools only need the grades you submit on your AMCAS application for evaluation and that sending later grades is up to the applicant? Thanks for any help
