You are right. All the schools that had problem receiving the new DAT were not the 5 that you mark when you sign up to take the test. I marked UNLV in the 1st 5 i think.

But I had to do a lot of follow up and calling for other schools

Man, so many people are having this problem ! Makes me wonder if my new score got to the schools ok...

So if I designated the schools to be sent at the same time when I was registering for the exam, then it's ok, right?

Yes, and you may still be ok even if you sent additional score reports out. Not everyone runs into the problem. I called one of the two schools I sent additional reports to and they had them. So i just assumed the other did, and I'm still assuming..I'm not sure why people run into this problem, but it is common, at least on this forum

hey thanks, but I actually saw that thread before and thought to myself OMG i wasn;t the only one. In-fact when I called up the schools to inform them of my case even the staff in the office informed me that a LOT of students are having the same problem. My parents were quite upset too and said that its not fair that because of someone else's fault the students should suffer. After all for a rolling basis admission everyday is valuable.

But what can you do. Its just disappointing that these people have taken such a huge responsibility of handling student scores --- actually holding their careers in their hands --- and they don't take it as seriously as they should.

WHat is worse is that when you call up to request the DAT scores to be sent again or find out the problem -- the staff is actually rude. How absurd. We PAY through our noses for this --- and we dont even get treated like a rightful customer -- not to mention the seriousness of this case.

I was rejected from Creighton last year and when I called to ask what I could do to improve my application they told me that they never received my official DAT scores! That freaked me out so I called the other schools to make sure they had my stuff and the University of Maryland didn't get my official DAT scores either. I guess I learned to call the schools up earlier to make sure my app was complete the hard way. It seems like someone will always have problems but what amazes me is the volume of people that didn't get their scores sent or sent to the right schools. They can definitely improve.
