weird snail mail from Drexel??

so I got this thing in the mail today from drexel...It says "thank you for your interest in the Medical Science Program here at Drexel university college of medicine..." and then they describe this "medical science program" which is basically a post-bacc program for pre-meds to "strengthen" their app for med schools. they even sent me an app for the program which starts in aug 2005.

anyone else get this? I thought it was really weird since a) I never expressed any interest in this program and b) I already sent in my drexel secondary a while time ago and the program starts in aug 2005 which would mean I wouldnt be going to med school at that time.... 😕

I bet its just junk mail. They probly send it to all med applicants. However, I've sent in my secondary, LORs, etc... but still havent heard from them nor have I received anything about that program.

it basically means "if you don't get into our med schol or any med school, do this post-bacc to improve your app for the next cycle"

Yeah, I got it too. I was really excited to get a big envelope from Drexel.... I thought it was an interview invite. So when I found out it was for the post-bac program, I was really dissapointed.

FYI. The Drexel interview invite comes in a SMALL envelope.

when did you guys submit your secondary and how long did it take them to review and process your secondary app?

anyone know about their post bacc program? one or two years? masters? guarantee acceptance into program?

Since Drexel doesn't have an online status page, I don't know *exactly* when my file was complete. However, I'm listing the day I received their snail mail postcard.

sent in the secondary 8/19
complete ~ 8/26 (notified via snailmail)
interview invite 9/4 (via snailmail)
