Western U. Interview...How long after "Application Ready for Review" E-mail?

For those who received a interviews from Western University...How long did it take after you received the "Application Ready for Review" e-mail?

Here was my time frame:

e-mailed that my application was complete : Aug 18
Phone call for interview invite: Aug 30
Interview: Sept 18

So.. I guess they invite people every month??? Looks like they notify people at the end of the month I guess??

Nope, my interview is on Oct 2nd. They also had interviews on Sep 18 and 25.

I believe my app was complete on August 25th and I was invited on September 23rd. So it does take 3 to 4 weeks as indicated in their e-mail.

You're right, Western has 3 people who handle applications. So I guess it depends.

So if my AADSAS application was mailed on July 16 and I still haven't received a call from Western does this mean No interview from them????

It has been exactly ONE month for me since I got that Email. However, no NEWS yet. I talked to them last week and they said there are more interviews coming soon.

As far as rejection letter, I am not sure if Western Sends one !! I applied to them last year late in Dec and I was never given a rejection letter.

Western is a strange school. The class of2013 and 2014 has such a low GPA and DAT score but I think it mght be becuase of URMs.

Do they take alot of URMs ?

I wouldn't say a 3.4 and 19 are low scores. They aren't the highest but I say around average. Western likes well rounded people who have had a lot of life experiences. We have several non-traditional students as well as a couple of URM's.

Don't think that quote is true. My real life friend got an invite a few days ago. He was complete around the END of JULY. So if you were sent in august, I wouldn't lose any hope at all. I know I haven't =)

oh gosh! good luck! congrats on the interview invite! my last rec letter was mailed on 8/27 and i didn't get the "complete and ready for review" email until 9/23 (3 days after you) i hope i'm right behind you....
