I will just straight up say my stats so I can get honest opinions and advice.

I'm sitting at 3.22 cGPA and my sGPA is worse. I made a D in calc 1, retook it and made an A. I have 2 C's in both organic chem 1 and 2. Everything else are A's and B's.

-Business marketing major, bio minor
-I recently presented my physics research about the Big Bang
-Currently working on pulmonary lung function research with patients who have LAM disease
-Working part time 12-20 hours as an ER scribe
-Volunteered at 2 hospitals for about 1 year each place
-Worked as an English teacher in Italy for 2 months
-Volunteer teacher at a high school to teach business fundamentals to students
-Past job of 1.5 years was as a piano teacher at a music school
-Will be working at UT Med School as a pre-bacc trainee for a surgeon
-Previously the VP and secretary twice for cultural organization on campus

I am a female, TX resident and am mixed so I can either be counted as White or Asian. I have not taken the MCAT yet.

I feel extremely hopeless right now and would just like to know what direction I need to be going in to be a good MD/DO candidate.

GPA is not competetive for MD schools, but you are probably OK for DO programs, like TCOM for starters.

Re-take the C courses.
