hello. merry christmas!!

I have a quesion, seriously, what am I?

I was born in Ohio US, lived there till 7, then I moved to South Korea.
Now, I'm studying in BC canada, and about to finish my bac in Kinesiology.
(i'm an international student here. and my ethic background is Asian)

So, when I apply to dental schools in US, am i considered as out-of-state? or international?

(I have US passport, so i'm definitely a US citizen, who barely lived in states😛)

Thanks and hope you all have a great holiday!

If you were born here then you are an American citizen. If you don't have a legal residence in the United states then I would think you are international.

you are a US citizen, so i don't think you would be considered an international. if you are asking about state schools, whether or not you would be in-state or out-of-state depends on the school. most schools make you prove that you lived in the state prior to enrollment for a certain period of time and that your move to a particular state was for reasons other than education. if you don't meet these criteria then you are out-of-state. you should check with the schools to see what they say, but thats my understanding how schools determine residency.
