What are my chances of getting accepted to a DO Program all around?
New York City Student
SGPA - 3.5-3.6
CGPA - 3.629 (3.668 by graduation)
MCAT 501 (127/122/125/127)
LOR - Strong letter of recommendation from Two Professors, letter from volunteering dept, and MD letter.
EC - 200 hours volunteering at a hospital
- 60 hours shadowing a physician
- Tutored Chemistry for 3-4 years (private+school)
- Research in a biochemistry lab + Neurobehavioral science lab
- over 600+ hours in community service
- Hobbies are playing basketball and cooking..

your hobby of cooking should virtually get you in anywhere.

Based on stats, you have good chance of getting an interview. Acceptance comes after that. Stats get you to the interview, the rest is on you.

You are competitive for the majority of DO schools. Apply to at least 12 schools and you should receive several interviews.

You should check LoR. Some schools may want a letter from a non-science professor.

I got in 2 schools --> So just apply

To really give you some insight we're going to need your GPA brought out to the ten-thousandths place... With out that, we'll really just be shooting into the dark.
