Hi everyone,

I had a low undergrad GPA (3.26 oGPA, 2.96 sGPA, downward trend) so I did a master's in biology and got a 3.68 GPA in graduate school.
Took the DAT last summer (21TS/21AA with 18RC) and I'm still not confident in my stats so I'm trying to apply to 19 schools. I'm planning to submit my app on June 4th when the cycle opens.
I'm a Maryland resident btw and Maryland would be my top choice!

LECOM
NOVA
Midwestern (IL)
Louisville
Boston
Tufts
Maryland
New England
Detroit Mercy
Minnesota
Creighton
Rutgers
NYU
Touro
Case Western
Temple
Roseman
Virginia
Marquette

I know these are a lot of schools, but I really want to get in this cycle. Should I still narrow down the list or am I good? Let me know if you think I should add/remove any schools. I have diverse volunteering experiences (majority are church related), dental related working experience, and 100+ hour shadowing.
I would appreciate any advice!!! Thank you so much in advance.

I think you wisely picked your schools. The only thing I'd be concerned about is I think Roseman looks at your last 60 units, and their average must be above a 3.0 or some number, so I don't know if you'd be auto-rejected by them. Otherwise, I think your list looks pretty good, but I just don't know how competitive it is to get into Louisville, UMN, or VCU as an OOS student, so I'd be careful about that!

Good luck!

Do you know if those 30 credits include graduate school classes too?

Nova has a 3.25 GPA cutoff for both oGPA and sGPA. But since you did a masters maybe you're good? I suggest you call and double check

Louisville is incredibly OOS friendly. They have 120 seats and of those 80 are for OOS.
