Hello,

Recently I graduated from Indiana University with a Biology B.S. degree. I am currently taking a gap year and plan on applying to medical school this summer. I am working as a medical scribe. I completed my degree with a 3.77 GPA and 3.68 science GPA. I have volunteered in hospitals and in the community and have some shadowing experience. I have all of my recommendations in order as well. The one thing I believe would be a mark on my application would be my MCAT scores. I took it three times and got the same score of 500 each time. Based on all of the factors listed above, what do you all believe would be my chances of getting into a DO medical school?

You have a chance for some DO schools, mainly the newer schools. Schools where you have a chance for an interview with your stats include:
MU-COM
ACOM
BCOM (new school)
WCU-COM
LMU-DCOM
UP-KYCOM
WVSOM
VCOM (all 3 schools)
ARCOM (new school)
NYIT-Arkansas (new school)
RVU-Utah (new school)
UIW (new school-Texas)
Your chances for MD schools are very low but it may be worth applying to Indiana.
