Would I have a good chance of getting in at NJMS or Quinnipiac Med School?
What other schools on the East Coast would you say I would have a good chance of getting accepted into?

Thanks :)

I have fairly similar stats to you (3.52 cGPA, 3.52 sGPA, 37 MCAT) and live in the northeast and I am applying to:

all NY schools
Quinnipiac
BU
Tufts
Drexel
Commonwealth
Thomas Jefferson
Penn
Penn State
Case Western
Temple

Of those I'd suggest applying to the PA ones, but disregard Case (did my undergrad there) and public NY schools unless you're a NY resident.

As for chances at Quinnipiac, that's really difficult to judge since this is their first year as a med school (no stats from previous years). I will say that a friend of mine went to a new med school and said it sucked because nobody knew what they were doing yet. I'm still applying, you should too, but be wary of that if you get accepted there and elsewhere.

Bottom line is hit your state schools, a few private ones, and rock your personal statement and LOR's and you'll do just fine.

Those are pretty good stats (not amazing, but very solid) and good ECs.

You have a great shot at NJMS if you are a New Jersey resident. If you aren't, don't bother applying because they matriculate fewer than 5% out of state each year. As Basketcase said, it is hard to say what your chances are for Quinnipiac.

Other east coast schools in your range:
RWJ (if you are a New Jersey resident)
Jefferson
Temple
Drexel
Vermont
Virginia Commonwealth
Virginia Tech
Penn State
Albert Einstein (a bit of a reach)
Hofstra

I would stay away from BU because they get 10,000+ applications each year, and even though the average MCAT and GPA of BU matriculants is not too far from yours, the competition is very stiff in other ways (ECs and fit). Brown, Dartmouth, Georgetown, and George Washington fall in the same category. Their stats may seem to match up with yours, but I would not waste time applying.

Case Western is probably a reach, but you have some chance of getting in.

Apply broadly, apply early, and I guarantee you that you will get in somewhere.

Euxox: would you also say I have a good chance at Tufts?

And thank you both for your input! I greatly appreciate it! :)

Tufts also has a lot of applicants, but not as many as BU, Georgetown, etc. and their average stats are a bit lower. I wouldn't say that you have a good or great chance at Tufts, but I think you have a decent chance. Enough of a chance that it is worth it to apply. I think that you are more likely to get into Tufts than Case Western.

You're welcome. Good luck on your apps!
