I'm mostly concerned regarding my freshman and sophomore year grades. It was a huge transition for me going into my freshman year, so consequentially my grades suffered. I got a C+ in orgo my freshman year, C- in an intro engineering class, and P/F another engineering class (didn't know I was pre-med until end of frosh year). Sophomore year I got a B in genetics, B- in biochem I and P/F biochem II after failing the first midterm. Worked my ass off every night (and probably shortened my life span as a result) to bring up my GPA from thereon out, busted my ass on studying for MCAT every summer, and took a bunch of easy upper divs in biology. Also took a bunch of classes in the med school which were graded easier. How will adcoms see these grades?

My current choices: Stanford, Columbia, UCSF, Johns Hopkins, Boston University, Tufts, Harvard, Yale, UCLA, University of Washington, Penn State, Medical College of Wisconsin, Wake Forest, Mayo, Robert Wood Johnson, Baylor, University of Connecticut, University of Massachusetts, Drexel, University of Virginia, USC, Georgetown, University of Vermont, UC San Diego, Quinnipiac, Albert Einstein, New York Medical, Pittsburgh, Hofstra

Is my list too reach heavy? Thanks!!

U Washington accepts less than 1% of applicants who are not from states in the Northwest and Robert Wood Johnson, Baylor, UCLA, UMass, UC San Diego accept few non residents with no connection to the state. You should receive several interviews from the other schools on your list.
