What are my chances with low GPA, decent canadian DAT, MSc and publications?

So here's my credentials:
3.17 overall, 3.11 science GPA (cellular, molecular and microbial biology)
3.67 graduate GPA (immunology- thesis based)

22 bio
20 gchem
21 TS
23 PAT
20 RC
21 AA
29 carving (do american schools even look at carving??)

I have 1 first author original article publication in Immunity and 1 original article that i am co-first author under review also at Immunity. I also have a publication in Immunological Reviews as last author and a small review in AITE as corresponding author under review. I have received a lot of competitive awards/scholarships.

I have worked in a dental office for about 8 years now (father is a dentist), and have shadowed another dentist in a hospital/surgical and clinical setting.

My volunteer/EC's include competitive badminton, fundraising, and various student associations and advisory committees.

I know my GPA's are on the lower end, but is there anything i can do to beef up my application this next year if i don't get in?

Your application actually looks pretty solid. Your grades aren't too bad, and your DAT scores are competitive ( I don't know, however, how the canadian DAT compares to the US DAT).

I have one suggestion to really beef up your application: do some volunteering or go on a dental "mission trip". These outings really allow you to immerse yourself in a different culture in a dental sense, as well as opening your eyes to the underserved communities around the world.

yeah i was actually going to do a dental trip to sri lanka. I have a colleague who's actually a dentist from sri lanka and he occasionally goes back to do volunteer dental work there.
