- I am posting this for a friend -

I have a 3.66 GPA (Bio major) from Stanford and got a 24 (10-6-8) on the MCAT the first time and a 22 (9-5-9) on the second time. I have scientific and clinical research experiences besides volunteering/shadowing.

Other facts: Latina, transferred from a community college to Stanford, published (5 journal articles)

What are my chances? @LizzyM @Goro what do you think specially?

Thanks!

Over the past few years, 47.8% of Hispanic applicants have been admitted to at least one school. With those MCAT scores and that GPA, the chances for this applicant are about average for Hispanics but also less than 50-50.

Frankly, I wouldn't touch an applicant with an average MCAT of 23 or a best score of 24 and it is even worse that the most recent score is 22. Other schools may see some potential in this applicant.
