I am almost done with my doctor of pharmacy and am 22 w/ no loans. I have decided that medicine was a better fit for me and am interested in applying. I had a 3.7 gpa in undergrad, a 3.0 in pharmacy school, and a 25 (11P, 8S, 6V) on the MCAT (I took it during school and while working). I am retaking it with hopes to score around a 27-30. Was wondering what my chances are in getting admitted to a osteopathic program like MSU-COM (in-state) or LECOM?
-Was active in organizations during undergrad/pharm school
-I have about 200 hours of volunteer work done at Hospitals (ER, Pharmacy, etc.)
-I have tons of clinical experience through pharmacy school (hospital rotations, going on rounds with medical team, making treatment plans for many different disease states, antibiotic coverage/therapeutics, much more).
