hi! i am in my second year of college and i just took the mcat this august. i scored a 29 without taking orgo II. I have a 3.93 GPA. Should I apply for med school now? Or wait another year?... either way i would have my Bachelor's degree in Biology. if i take another year and retake the MCAT in Jan, what would my chances be of actually getting into a school like Wayne State University?

the only higher-level classes i would basically go into med school with would be genetics, anatomy 2, microbio, and cellular and molecular biology. do you guys think i would be okay in medical school with just these classes?

Any advice would be helpful!!!!

What's your hurry?

i would finish my coursework to graduate so i would like to start medical school

....wait a minute, let me try to understand this. Are you graduating in your second year of college? Also, why would you take the MCAT without orgo II?

IMO it's too late to apply for this cycle. Maybe DO would be okay but @Goro's right. What's the hurry? If you are graduating next year take a gap year or two and do some ECs( which you seem to be lacking) . Or don't graduate and take some upper level bio courses!
