so i just got verified by pharmcas today and i was wondering what my chances are to get into pharm school.
GPA--3.3 Overall
PCAT-91 Comp-99% in both chem and bio
dont have many extracurricular's except for some volunteering in ER.
2 LOR's i from pharmacist and one from professor
i'm applying to schools mostly in Illinois.

You have a decent chance with your high PCAT. But Pcat is only 1 factor.
Below average GPA, and having no extracurricular really hurts.

Are you set on only Illinois? I suggest you apply to more schools.

ya mostly Illinois but i also applied to 2 more out of state schools. but i'm thinking about adding more schools just in case

You should be asking...what are my chances of getting a full time job after graduation?

There are two answers to this question, with which the applicant must consider:

1. Very good. Health care is recession proof, and I'm going to be pushing pills at a 6 figure salary. (99% of the public believes this answer because hope is sometimes what we have left as a society.)

2. Correctly choosing a side of a fair coin yields a higher success rate than getting FT hours in a pharmacy setting. Health care IS a business, which strives to maximize profits. As an exercise for those viewing this thread, I encourage those to investigate the internet to see if this 4 year investment is actually worth pursuing. I believe the News Republic just released an article, that might be a good place to start.
