I'm applying to two schools currently and it is a very last minute thing where I am barely meeting the deadline. NOVA & Palm Beach Atlantic.

Neither are my top choices but they are the only schools I can apply to this year because I will be able to finish the prereqs in the summer, whereas, USF, FAMU, UF, LECOM all want my prereqs done by july which wouldn't be possible because I have to take my last couple classes in the entire summer semester. Basically, these are the only two schools willing to work with me.

I took the PCAT jan 6 and got a 98%
Verbal 52
Bio 92
Chem 99
RC 90
Math 72

My school GPA is 3.66 but in my first year of college I stupidly got a F in two classes which I retook and got a A in one and a B in the other. Other than that all my other grades are nothing lower than a B and mostly A's. PharmCas has not calculated my GPA but in your experience, how bad will that lower my overall GPA? However, my science GPA should be around 3.7 because I have done really good in all my sciences classes, mostly A's and definitely nothing below a B. I also never failed any science classes.

I have 3 LOR's, one from my chemistry teacher and one from my anatomy teacher.

I have a LOR from a pharmacist that I shadowed for two years and he wrote me and extremely strong LOR.

My worry is that I am applying very late and barely making the deadline.

What are my chances? Be brutal. Any advice would help.

There is no way you won't be accepted unless you piss off every person at the schools.

Maybe this is a dumb question but how exactly do you piss those people off? Be super annoying or disrespectful? I just want to make sure I get in soi wanna avoid pissing people off lol

I should have put "intentionally". If you act professionally, shouldn't be a problem.

On a side note, you must have scored in the 5xx (or least 480+) to get that kind of composite score. Congrats.

My Chem score was 526, guess that's what kept my composite up

I'm having the same set of question. Did you submitted your pharmcas app?

By the way, I took the test the jan. 6 too. Congrats on your score. My composite was 84.

No, I'm applying to PR and NY. Did u submitted your pharmcas app?

Yes, currently I submitted my application to Pharmcas and have all three references in place. My transcripts were received 1/20/15 so right now I'm waiting on the PCAT scores to come in and for the GPA to be calculated and then my application will go to the board for review.

Hows your application going? Is your GPA calculated already? How brutal is the pharmcas with your GPA?

I know its going to get lower, I hope not too much lower.

Whats your school GPA... is it very different? Or around the same.

They all ask about the same range... There are school who ask a little less (2.7), but standard is 3.0.

And if you're asking if there is much difference between science gpa and normal gpa, I think that will just depends on which classes you have with the lowest scores.

well the only thing I see as a problem is no seats available. It took pharmcas 4-ish weeks to verify for me. I didn't receive interviews till after verification. So what u r looking at is not hearing anything till late February/early March. Also, pharmcas recalculated gpa was not far off from my university gpa.
