I graduated college with a BS in Biology, waited a few years, and now I've decided I want to study pharmacy. Here's my info:

GPA: 3.5
science GPA: also 3.5
my prereq GPA is much higher, around 3.8, but I did a bit worse in some upper level courses (C in biochem)

PCAT: will take in July

Experience:
-100 hours volunteering at three hospitals in clinical areas (10 months)
-300 hours volunteering at nursing home (4 summers)
-40 hours volunteering at doctor's office (2 months)
-research with ophthalmologist (4 months)
-volunteer at a camp for visually impaired kids (1 summer)
-several years of mentoring middle schoolers in an empowerment program, and coordinating the growth of this program in the state I live in

LORs: one science professor, supervisor of empowerment program, and supervisor of nursing home volunteer program

I lack direct pharmacy experience. I've been looking to volunteer or shadow at hospital and retail pharmacies, but none seem to want any right now. I'm not sure if my schedule will allow me to work as a pharm tech right now. I don't know if that experience is 100% necessary for me or if I am ok with the clinical experience that I already have.

Some schools required that you at least shadow. Tech experience not necessary. Your stats + EC are fine. Score decently on the PCAT and you're golden.

Your EC is good, but you have experience everywhere except in pharmacy. Kill the PCAT.
