I have been accepted to California Long Beach State and UC Riverside. I have been told not to go CSULB because it will reduce my chances for medical school. However, I don't think that UCR will be that great either. I was rejected from UCI and UCLA, and I was recommended my counselor to go to community college. I would get a guaranteed transfer to UCI as long as I have 30 semester credits and a 3.4 gpa. I would like to know if I should take CC and transfer, CSULB, or Riverside. Which school maximizes my medical school chances? I am currently a high school senior and study habits/ advice would be greatly appreciated.

If you're from the inland empire I'd go to UCR since they have their own med school now.

Regardless, its still a better overall school than CSULB.

Ultimately going CC -->UCI vs UCR will matter very little.

Go where you think you'll be happiest and can get good grades.
