3.53 cGPA

URM
300 hours shadowing (200 private practice, 100 shadowing different specialties at a hospital)
Worked between 28-40 hours per week during my last two years at undergrad as manager of a local snack shop.
Because of work and school, not much time for EC's, although I spent a lot of my free time helping out my elderly family members, writing/recording music.

I had about a 3.2 cGPA during my first two years and had with a 3.87 my last two years, and explained in my PS the cause for the change. Very bad first grades, lots of C's, but since then Only A's and 2-3 B's.

507 MCAT (125/126/128/128)

First generation to graduate with a bachelors.

I only applied in state, to all TX schools. My first choice would be McGovern, second would be San Antonio.

Should probably add that I submitted my TMDSAS application last month, and judging by the updates on their twitter it's looking to get processed by the end of next week at the latest.

Hispanic/Latino, not 100% fluent but i can understand everything completely and hold basic conversation. I'm working at keeping conversation going, and hope to be fluent by this time next year.

I think you have a very good shot at one of your Tx schools! Good luck OP.
