What are my chances

I am looking for some advice.

My cGPA is 3.55.
My sGPA is 3.49.
MCAT score is 512. Edit: Will retake it get a higher score.
I have taken many leadership roles in the community. 300+ hours of volunteering. 2 years of clinical research experience.

I am resident of Virginia. So I was wondering whether I have a chance of getting into to med school. What can I do to increase my chances for admission?? I really don't want to take a postbac program. I am not interested in DO schools that much.

Do you think 55% is high enough chance to get into med school?? Is there any way I can improve my application?? I want to take a gap year.

I have a strong upward trend with all A's 4th year (during which I only took bio classes), good EC's, plan to get score of my second MCAT soon (hoping more than 512). Only thing I am worried about is GPA due to some personal issues. Do I have a chance at top 20 schools?? Do I have chance at UVa med??

I got my score back yesterday. It was 520. Just to emphasize my EC's. I have 100 hours of shadowing, 2 years of research, 300 hours of other volunteering, vice president of three organizations, did a non-profit fellowship, one medical summer program at VCU. Plan to work in clinical this year will add 1000 hours. I am not interested in DO only MD.

With that new score of 520 you can add U Virginia. Many schools average scores but you could add other schools such as:
Duke
Wake Forest
Miami
You do not need to apply to DO schools.

Thank you. I appreciate your advice. Since I am taking a gap year, is there anything else I can do to improve my application?? More extra curriculares maybe?? I have limited income so I don't really want to spend time on SMS/post-bac.

My chances for med school?
Very worried about applying to med school and wonder if I have a strong enough application?
About me:
I'm currently still a California resident and moved to Reno for UNR
Stayed close to Ca due to my father's diagnosis with dementia
Grew up shadowing him as a prison doctor
Worked in the entertainment business since the age of 7 till my junior year in college
Last of 7 children and have had a hard time with my father diagnosis so a few bad grades are on my transcript: D first time around in calc repeated and got an A and a few Cs one in ochem2
Major: Biology
Current GPA entering Senior year is 3.37 with hopes to come out around 3.4-3.5
Work as a full-time caregiver at a retirement home in lockdown/memory clinic
Most recent work in the entertainment business was 5 billboards for Nugget Casino Hotel in Reno
Volunteer as Big Brothers Big Sisters match to a little girl for last 2 years
Shadowed in general surgery and internal medicine for a month in Trieste Italy
Volunteer t Animal Shelter for 4 years
