Hey Guys, I was just wondering if some of you can add your input to my situation: 25 P MCAT, 3.33 science, 3.52 overall and a bunch of extra curriculars. Haven't heard from PCOM or NYCOM, rejected at UMDNJ post interview. Do I have a chance?

to be honest, you can probably answer that question better than anyone else in this forum. if we're looking at your numbers, your mcat and gpa is average but you probably already know that. a lot of people haven't heard from nycom but that's due to the fact that they first start interview instaters first. i don't think they started with out of staters yet. as with pcom, they're getting an abundance of applications this year. there's 20 applicants per spot. so, wait patiently, be confident in the assets that you have, practice your interview questions and be prepared. really, this is all we can do. we all have a chance to get into med school, it's what we do when that chance is offered that will determine if we make it or not.

Your stats are good. NYCOM has not started out-of-state interviews yet and PCOM is taking forever with everyone. As long as your ECs are strong and you have good LORs, you have a really good chance of getting interviewed and accepted. Do you know why UMDNJ rejected you? Did you apply anywhere else?
