So, I'm currently studying for the MCATs and trying to decide which schools I want to go to. I feel like I'm able to get into US DO schools and carribbean MD schools. I'd rather become an MD though, just because of personal preference. Here are my stats:

GPA: 3.4
Practice MCAT scores so far: 26
Major: Microbiology and Molecular Biology
Other: Academic honors society, vice president of a few campus clubs, resident assistant, hospital shadowing (100 hours) and I'm currently doing biotechnology research with Disney and NASA.

Let me know what you think. I'm starting to get nervous!

I have AUC's stats from their website (based on their 2008 incoming class):

" Average Cumulative GPA: 3.2
Average Science GPA: 3.1
Average MCAT: 25 "


I obtained Ross's and SGU's by emailing their admissions reps about a month ago:

Ross: 3.4 gpa, 24 mcat

SGU: "The average incoming student scores in the high twenties on the MCAT exam and has a 3.3/3.4 GPA"



...So i would guess you have a nice shot at all of them if you get a 26 on your real mcat.

Yeah, I agree. I think you have a pretty good shot at all 4 top schools. Good luck on the MCAT.

edit: If you end up getting a 30+ on the real MCAT you should seriously consider applying to US D.O. schools instead.
