It really depends on the university and the professor that teaches the course. You might be better off asking other classmates this question. 🙂

also, use ratemyprofessors.com. Pretty good tool for determining the popular consensus on how well a professor teaches

I agree...ask some students who are graduating. They always know stuff like this. GPA boosters are almost always a good idea (unless they make up a bulk of your units 🙂 )

Like others have said it really depends on the school and proffesor. Ask your friends who are upperclassmen, use ratemyprof, etc. Psych is a very common elective, usually relatively easy just because of the amount of people in those classes. However, if you dont like it then dont bother.
There are classes like theater100 with 200 people (or more, depending on your uni) where you can easily copy off tests of the smart people who actually pay attention in that class because of the number of people in the lecture hall. That class was ridiculously easy btw. The onyl books I read for it were the two plays that werent on sparknotes.

ceramics has traditionally been favored by adcoms

Interesting...since when did art include psychology? IF you're talking about arts and letters as opposed to applied arts, take a film course if your school has one...their fun and all you usually do is watch movies and write short little essays.

If you're talking about actual studio art courses...good luck! there is no such thing as an easy art course unless you happen to just be a gifted natural painter, ceramist, jeweler, etc. At my school art courses are twice as many hours per week than a regular 3 unit course and you usually have to come in on your own time, sometimes 10+ hours a week to finish projects for the class. I loved ceramics and jewelry, but if you don't have money, take ceramics...cheapest artform.

Why not take something in business, english, foreign language, or performing arts (dance/guitar/piano)? Some schools look for the well rounded and intellectually curious. Nothing too strenuous-intro level classes in macroeconomics, spanish, anthropology are all pretty straight forward.

i took photog... my prof thought he was ansel adams although i don't remember ansel making collages of feathers and dead things and then photographing them. man, what a weirdo.

If you want "easy " class phycology is good for sure, its rlly interesting as well...

If you are looking for other subjects as an "easy class" Businuss courses are usually pretty simple.

Check out the history dept. My school offered history of louisiana plantation archaeology, southern culture, and (the best of all) history of rock and roll!! They were pretty easy, just memorization and you get to learn about really cool subjects 😀

Aerobic dance- my favorite. Nothing like strolling into biology with hot pink legwarmers on.

i took art history 317 at UW. It was Chado - the way of drinking tea. It was 4 credits vlpa with one 2 hour lecture and another 2 hours of tea ceremonies and tea drinking each week. Now that was easy
