Just got word that my class scrub color is navy. I've noticed the Grey's anatomy scrubs sold by my D school have sleeves that come all the way down to the elbows which I personally despise.

Anyone familiar with scrubs have any brand recommendations?

Usually scrub come in pretty big regardless of brands. I get my scrub tailor so it doesnt look to baggy. Look better and more professional that way. Doesnt cost much either, 50 or 60 i think when i had my done.

You get yours tailored?? There's gotta be some affordable scrubs out there that aren't potato sacks lol

At UCLA, we get 3 pairs of scrubs provided to us, and lots of my classmates had them tailored for a nicer fit 🙂 I personally didn't touch the top, but I did tailor my pants myself (the artistic part in me 😛) so they were less bellbottom and more bootcut.

Lots of my classmates also bought Figs (group discount I believe) and Jaanuu scrubs!

I personally love Barco One scrubs! The material is great and breathable and they are cheaper than FIGS.

100% figs is my opinion. I got a pair last year for work and they’re really nice. On the pricey side, but I figured I would be wearing them the rest of my life, so why not enjoy.

(Side Note) Do you have to wear the scrubs with the UCLA patch or can we buy figs and wear those instead?

You can wear figs- they don't need to have the UCLA logo afaik, but idk if you need the logo when you're in clinic :/ One of my classmates got the fancy "circle" logo embroidered onto his scrubs and it turned out really, really nice and I don't think it was too expensive to do that either

The office I work out supplies the staff with Figs. As a guy I love them, really nice fit and comfortable. They don't shrink up when washed either. Pricey for sure, but Figs often has 20-30% off sales. Just wait till they go on sale.

I've used Scrubzone for the past several years.

A lot of people at my school wears figs (including myself). They look nice, color doesn’t fade, and doesn’t wrinkle

These fig scrubs actually look nice but they are definitely out of my price range. Maybe next christmas.

I like baggy scrubs because everyone looks bad in them and there is something nice about everyone looking bad together, feels egalitarian.

Except you don't want to be the only one wearing baggy scrubs!

I was definitely peer-pressured into Figs

Just snagged myself 3 pairs of wonderwink scrubs for $120 at a local scrub shop. The wonderwink tops and pants cost $20 a piece and felt way nicer than the other brands priced at $35 a piece.

I don't know if I can pull the trigger on figs when one set is worth $100. Pretty sure they are intended for royalty with that price tag
