I was just wondering...

OMT = Osteopathic manipulative therapy/OMM = osteopathic manipulative medicine, NMM = neuromusculoskeletal medicine. The AO Board of NMM accredits the special proficiency in OMM/OMT. As I understand it, you can think of NMM as the area of practice (although it aligns closely with PM&R with extra osteopathic principles and is usually taught alongside FM) and OMT/OMM just as a specific collection of procedures.

OMM = osteopathic manipulative medicine is the class you take to learn OMT = osteopathic manipulative treatment/therapy
NMM is the residency you would be board certified in if you chose to do OMT as a career
PM&R is Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation which is it's own residency. You would run a stroke and rehab center. Oversee the physical therapy dept and determine specifically the best rehab options for patients to improve their ADL's so they can be independent

So, why do DOs have both "NMM and OMM" after their credentials?
