What are the pluses/minuses of ortho?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
+ FUN, sterlized power tools, typically a cool bunch of guys, good pay, CHICKS, usually healthier patient population, good results (dependent of area of specialty, spine often gets ****tier results than joints or sports med.), oh yeah.....its fun too.

- ****ty schedule (like all other surgical at least until after residency), .....5-6 year residency, extremely competitive to get into......not too many other negatives.

Actually, I would recommend going to the Orthogate website. It should answer most of your questions.
