ahhh!! I just sent a couple PM's to a couple SDNers asking if they would read my Supp. App. Essays! I am super nervous to see if anyone will agree, and then the hard part, sending it off to them! they are both works in progress.. at this point, any advice to make them better will make me happy!!
 
Comparing cell phones (wondering if the Galaxy III is worth the extra cost over the Galaxy S II X) and freezing. Good lord, AVC, would it kill you to turn the heat on a bit?!

Trade you! Feels like the heat is on in our building but its 80° outside and gorgeous.
 
That_redhead will agree with me. The temperature in our school has no relation whatsoever to the temperature outside. +30C or -20C, it's pretty much always the same temperature in that building, and while I'm not sure what the temperature is, it's definitely enough to keep me wearing a sweater all day, every day.
 
It's gorgeous outside in MN today. A nice 85 degrees(F) and a slight breeze. 😎 Wish I had yardwork to do. Instead, I am inside cleaning and moving things around. With the front door propped open. Finally got two boxes unpacked, now that I have a place to put the contents. Mostly office stuff. 😍 my office supplies! My roommate thinks I am crazy. Getting most books unpacked, also. Finally have the big bookcase out in the living room. I've been in this house for 10 months now and it feels like I am just moving in. 🙄
 
I should be studying for physics, or the GRE , but instead I'm headed to the horse barn to get some more LA experience. Bleh, I wanna go to bed!
 
Should be studying bio and repro. So not feeling it. Failing my bio test made me so unmotivated.
 
I spent most of today making a birthday cake for a friend (his birthday was the 3rd but I've been too busy with moving in and then classes). First I had to go buy ingredients...and then find out how to walk to the bigger Price Chopper because the small one doesn't have mini marshmallows...then actually mixing it up and baking it, and finally decorating! With class and eating actual meals thrown in the middle somewhere, it's pretty much been all day. But soon I'll be going to eat it!

Im calling it quits for the night. I think I have over worked my brain with all of my supp app essays and my PS.. Im finding myself focusing more on these things than the classes im in right now.. ugh, not the best way to start my Final semester! need some 😴 so i can start all over tomorrow.
 
Looking over stuff and then editing. I just want to be finished.
 
Drooling over the new iphone.
It comes out tomorrow.
I think I'm going to get one. Estimated trade in value for my phone is ~200 so I can get the bigger space model for less than <$100. My phone is 2+ years old at this point, and two generations old so I feel like I'm overdue for an upgrade.
 
Well I was starting to feel better yesterday, and now I feel like crap again. Sigh. And I've lost 5 pounds since Monday. Not good.
Also just got out of the most painful lab ever. It's microbiology and for some reason we have another professor that lectures at the beginning of the lab, and then the TA just helps us do the lab. First time ever that the TA hasn't just done the whole thing. Now, the whole lab has JUST come from micro lecture, but the professor feels the need to re-teach in excruciating detail what we just learned an hour prior. So we spend an hour of the lab listening to her talk about what we just learned about even though we told her we just did it in class. And then barely have time to finish the lab at the end. I just don't understand.

Same here. We're already in the 50s in the morning. And our classes are always freezing. And I'm an AZ girl. I need heat to stay awake.

Sounds like a good dinner. Not sure if we have any good Mexican restaurants here though. I still haven't been able to find any good tortillas (even at the Mexican shops). I think I'm going to ask my parents for a couple of dozen when they come visit.

Studying. I was going to stop at 8PM (it is now 9) and relax and watch a couple of movies, but I can't get the radis and ulna to articulate with each other...So I continue until it works, then movie night is on!! 🙂

Debating if I should order pizza or not; it sounds really good.
 
I vote for pizza!

I am watching Hot in Cleveland episodes. 😍

We Bought a Zoo was good but serious/drama. Not sure about the others (but if you want comedy, probably not the right first choice).

I have actually seen We Bought a Zoo before and rented it because I thought it was a decent movie. I decided to watch Little Fockers, it was just ok, Meet the Parents was definitely the best of those movies. Not sure if I will squeeze another one in tonight (this morning) or just hold off until tomorrow. Getting kind of sleepy.
 
I really need to do the dishes but, my cat just settled down and fell asleep on me. On my arm. I'm typing one-handed. *sigh*
 
Contemplating doing a 180 with my career and getting a job in baseball... The Gastoina Grizzlies are looking for a GM and Ripken Baseball has an opening for a grants manager. Oddly enough, I qualify for both and I 😍 baseball, even if it does bore some folks to tears like my mom who says she would rather watch paint dry...
