Yeah, I did not care for the movie. But I basically never get to hang out with my housemate, so that was nice.

And now I should really get offline and work on my psych midterm.
 
I love my voice recorder.... I get to sit in class and daydream and when I freak out about the test I have next Tuesday I can play back the whole lecture...

Sitting in ecology... not paying attention and wondering what the people behind me are thinking of my off-topic computer use... oh well 👍
 
I'm trying to study for my statistics exam this evening. SOOOOO boring. Stats seriously puts me to sleep. To add to my inability to focus, I had a nightmare in which an evil lady forced me to give my dog away. I literally had to put him in a crate and ship him off to who-knows-where. I woke up crying 🙁

Of course that would never happen in real life!
 
Getting drunkies with 1200 other vet students 🙂

Pray for my liver.
 
Doing a big clean. Mattresses off bed and cleaning under there. Going through and getting rid of years of old school work.

Oh hi I'm gonna get poo water sprayed (no, misted) all over my face and body for 8 hours every day and like, not worry about it until I get real sick.

And oh yeah, I don't have a spleen - forgot to mention it. Was that important?

:laugh: I was thinking the exact same thing. Especially the spleen part.

Just finished the Dark Tower series by Stephen King and contemplating getting dressed for the day (at quarter til 2 in the afternoon). I have three assignments to work on, grocery shopping to do and cleaning to do but I just don't feel like it right now😛
 
My living room is full of random things that I need to put away and it needs sweeping. My kitchen has a week's worth of dishes to do and clean the floor. My bathroom needs a cleaning. My bedroom has clothes that I need to deal with.

And I don't want to do any of it. I have been sitting on my butt on the computer ALL DAY.
 
I should have been studying the last two hours and then write. Instead, I've been watching TV and writing. :laugh:
 
I'm having SUCH a hard time focusing right now. I have an anatomy and endocrinology final this week and football is distracting me. I even spent 4 hours of wasted time in Panera. Need to focus :bang:

I did finish my absentee ballot though. I hope postage back to the States isn't awful :\
 
Think I'm going to head to bed waaaaay early. Only 6:30pm but I'm just exhausted for no reason. Only had work today and it wasn't too bad.

Both cats are snoring. :laugh: I might as well join them. 👍

I made cupcakes for my friend's birthday. Chocolate-Guinness cake with whiskey-chocolate filling and Irish Cream icing. It was quite a complicated recipe for my tiny college kitchen and I dirtied a LOT of bowls.

Also, today was really not a day where I should have spent all of it baking.

I'm the exact same way. I can literally do any gross thing except eyeballs and cockroaches. And I had a cockroach crawl across my foot while I was studying for my ophtho final yesterday. :uhno:

I'm working with an ophtho now and as much as eyes are kind of gross, they are also super cool. I never imagined quite how many things could go wrong and how many ways there are to fix them.

👍 People keep telling me that the ophtho elective and rotation are super awesome...and I just can't bring myself to even consider it. Blech.

Crusty gross skin crap really grosses me out too and makes me itchy.
 
Sitting around and waiting for my Avian Flu ELISA test to finish. Looks like a lot of positives today!
 
Working on my bio lab report. Not sure why this one seems so hard. And then a presentation. Ugh. It's a lot of work for a 1 hour lab. 😡

I *hate* that. I was a competitive classical pianist into my 20s. Then I set it aside. I can still play ok, but it's maybe 25% of the ability I once had. Disgusts me. I still do a lot of music stuff, especially (elec) bass, but .... always wish I hadn't set it aside for a decade.

I don't have the time to pick it back up. I mean, I practiced around 3 hours/day. That's just not gonna happen.

Maybe some day!
