I got 3 Cs in my sophomore year all in science classes
Do I still have a chance at mD schools ?
Current cgpa: 3.54
Science gpa :3.4
Still have 3 semesters left(including this one)
No Mcat
Minimum ECs(clinical and shadowing and summer research

I had a lower GPA, 16 Cs, 1 D, and 3 Ws and was accepted MD. As long as you have a strong upward trend in your GPA, solid ECs, a solid PS, strong LORs, get a balanced 30+ MCAT, and apply smartly you should be fine. Also, not being socially inept at interviews will prolly help as well.

If your only issue is going to be the gpa and you can't pull it up in three semesters then there is always the postbac route.

I can pull it up possibly to a 3.6 cumulative
Would you apply with that?

A 3.6 is fine. With a decent MCAT and continuing to build up ECs you should have a decent cycle; especially if you apply DO as well. I'm ORM, non-disadvantaged and had a 3.45cGPA/3.35sGPA. There are more people on SDN than you think (and outside of SDN) who've had even lower GPAs and managed MD acceptances. You just need to make sure the rest of your app is as strong as can be, and that you apply to appropriate schools for your stats and interests. But yeah, in short there is really no reason to worry about a 3.5-3.6 GPA.

On average how many acceptances does a usual applicant get?

Even though 16 Cs how'd you manage to bring your gpa to a 3.4? I assume you got all As over a really long span of time? No offense just curious..

Prolly close to half of those were from non-science classes before I started pre-med. When I started pre-med reqs my cGPA was around a 3.4 and I had over 200 credits. I had a strong upward trend over the next 3 year with a 4.0 for the last two of those. That's what got me up to a 3.45, but it only moved so little because of how many credits I had (I had something like 360ish when I graduated).

Edit - Also, I did nothing to improve my GPA as a reapplicant.
