Really?

I have a BMW, I bought it because I have the money, lots of cool features, it's fast and gets 30 mpg. It has nothing to do with the size of my penis.

Which is more than I can say for whoever drives this...

In my opinion big bad trucks speak volumes about someone's insecurities.

As for being too tall, the 545i has more leg room than an F-250 XLT Super duty mega crew cab 4x4

I think 545i is a reasonable sized car

and trucks like that are scary... i run from people that drive trucks like that

I agree with Metalgear. We buy nice cars because we think for the features, power, and luxury that the car gives it is well worth the price we pay.

As for the Ford Superchief drivers, my take it that unless you truly have a need for it, a much smaller truck will do your day to day hauling.
it's especially funny seeing little chubby short people LEAP into giant trucks.

yep they sure are. i don't trust a man that drives a luxury car. To me, luxury/sports cars scream that a man is insecure and trying to make up for something.

lol, so only drive SUV's, trucks or compacts? The only thing owning motorcycles and a really fun car (E30 BMW) says about me is that I like playing with physics. driving/riding fast = physics. Stopping, acceleration, heel-toe, grip, reaction times, etc very fun.

I've never understood the judgments people make based on cars. It is interesting though because often these stereotypes turn out to be at least somewhat true.

I dun care though, I'll be driving older German sports/luxury cars for the rest of my life. probably add a late 80's F250 for yardwork, etc...

sorry, i'm going to have to disagree here. it's not just the amount of room. it's also the general position your legs are in.

roadsters/two seater sports cars generally force me to feel like i'm sitting on the floor with my legs straight out in front of me. to me, that's not comfort.

in the truck, you at least feel like you're in a normal sitting position and have several leg position options.

I love heel-toe-downshifting😍.

and yeah i could care less what someone else thinks about me based on my car. If i had a ferrari i would rather be blasting down some backroads with the windows down than trying to roll thru campus picking up freshman chicks. any of you guys done 150+mph?... my legs felt like jello after that... adrenaline is a hell of a drug:meanie:.

My mistake, we're talking apples and oranges here, this is a 545i

I understand what you mean about coupes/roadsters though, it's not so much an issue w/ sedans.

Seriously? What car did you 150 in and where was this?

I think every high schooler should have at least one crap car to teach them appreciation of what it means to have a good car finally. My first cars provided to me as a high schooler:

- one that didn't go in reverse (not legal, but somehow that's what my parents gave me). I always had to park in a pull-through spot or on an incline so I could let the car roll down to back out. Really.

- one that was my grandparents' old car (a 1984 Buick LeSabre). My friends called that 2nd car "the boat" because even though it looked horrid, it drove so smoothly. I actually had this car up through most of college too until it finally gave out.

Now my cases are extreme, but you get the point.

I finally a few years ago with my own money had an Infiniti G35 coupe and oh. my. god. I loved that car. Someday when I'm richer I'll go back to Infinitis, but in the meantime it's just too much for me to spend on a car.

Now I'm driving a Honda. It's not exciting (my husband picked it out)... but it runs well. Goes in reverse. Life is good. 🙂

You will be turning 16 and upon getting your license (heck, it's probably not a full license...is it a graduated license?), you will have what many consider to be a luxury car, regardless of if it's a few years old or not. I realize this situation is being presented to you, so I'm not holding it against you. I just want you to realize how lucky you have it. If there's something else you'd rather be driving, get a job to raise some money for payments for something more exciting. Or just enjoy your Infiniti. I know I would!

This has been the complete opposite for me. My parents bought me a nice toyota 4-runner when I was in high school. A few years later I traded it in and bought my car I still have (2002 Corvette). I have always taken great care of my cars. I have learned to professionally detail cars. I may be an acception because I am truly a gearhead. I love working on nice cars, especially mine 😀

I am not insecure at all. I am not in denial. I just love fast cars and it is a true hobby of mine. I have been brought up working on cars. It does not have anything to do with the size of my penis lol Oh, and it also gets 25 MPG pushing 650 HP. Best of both worlds

2005 BMW M3 (comp package). Paid for by myself. One of the few advantages of being non trad (older) applicant.
Also 2007 Acura RDX. Both are beautiful and sporty cars/SUV.
A CNA job pulled in that kind of cash? Or was it the tennis instructing? Because if it was for research, I'm getting short changed.

My car is electronically capped at 155 =((((

I hit it flying down I-5... amazing.
Crappy mileage though😀

and LSU i'm not a fan of vettes. The engine is great, but eventually you're going to have to turn....

I was blessed to get a 2006 Nissan Maxima for graduation from undergrad. God is good! I also helped pay for it.

I wish God gave me a Nissan Maxima...

...I'll at least cover the insurance

2005 Infinity G35 Sport 6MT Coupe.

Good I love that car. Had to pretty much sell my soul and a kidney to get it...

did anyone ever drive one of those ford aerostar vans? bonus points if it was pastel blue or gold.

i never drove one, but they crack me up when i see them. i had a friend that used to call them "dustbusters." i don't know why that's so funny, but i'm laughing out loud right now.
raises hands, but mine was white with a brown stripe.

My e36 m3... i posted up a thread in the all student forum if ya want pics of the car. only modifications are intake and the autoworks chip to remove the stock limiter of 137mph.

i've done it on highway 54 and I-70 numerous times.

I have an 07 Lexus ES350. A late graduation gift from myself 😀

But I try to ride my bike wherever I can. Saves me and the world a little bit of gas.

I saw a mclaren slr parked at a meter on campus the other day. Someone must've really wants their freshman chicks.

I once saw a blue Bentley parked next to a cart return at a local Costcos. You would think if they can afford a Bentley, they wouldn't need to buy food in bulk to save $$$. Then again, that Bentley may be the reason why they need to shop at Costcos for the rest of their lives...

Well... while I'm with hum3a on preferring to speed my exotic car along relatively empty, pretty roads, if you have the car and you need to go to campus anyway... and there's that one girl from bio who you've been eyeing...

you plebians and your BMW's and McLarens, the 2001 stock honda civic is where it is at.

See, now I never understood this mentality, just because you have money you're suppose to reflect that in all your spending habits? If I happen to become rich I'll still shop at Wal-Mart/Sams and still look for the best deals because when shop A is selling something for for $10 and shop B is selling the exact same thing for $7, it makes no sense to buy it at the higher price.

But back on topic, here are the cars I had in college before getting the pickup, no pics of the pickup unfortunately...

The A8 was nice and comfortable, the stealth was fast and fun, bikes are always good, and the camaro was beyond dumb

:laugh::laugh::laugh:
It was professional tennis, real estate investments, and a strong portfolio from savvy investments for over ten years.

Trust me, selling you soul and a kidney is worth it for a G35 coupe.
